Modeling Respect: A Message to Baseball Milton Members
As the season continues, we’d like to remind all members of Baseball Milton of the important role you play in creating a positive baseball environment. Your actions - both on and off the field - have a lasting impact on the young athletes who look up to you. Whether it’s how you speak to umpires, interact with opposing teams, or handle tense moments, players are always watching and learning.
Please keep the following in mind:
• Be respectful in all interactions, even when emotions run high.
• Lead by example—your response sets the tone for how players handle conflict and sportsmanship.
• Use proper channels for any concerns. Never argue with coaches, umpires or volunteers in front of players.
Thank you for continuing to model the values we want to see in the game: respect, composure, and leadership. Let’s continue working together to make baseball a safe and supportive space for all.
